Have a research question about the human-animal bond but not sure how to turn it into a study? Join a panel of three experienced HAI researchers for a practical conversation about the early stages of the research process. Panelists will discuss how to refine a research question, choose an appropriate design and measures, and navigate ethical review for both human participants and animals. They will also share lessons learned about recruitment, collaboration, and the common pitfalls that can undermine a study before it begins. Bring your questions, as there will be plenty of time for discussion.
