Michelle Guthrie Yarwood received her Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology (Area: Social Psychology) from Texas Tech University in 2013. Currently, Michelle is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Psychology at Penn State University – University Park. Michelle’s teaching and research focuses on romantic and human-animal relationships (love styles in particular), as well as human emotion and personality. Michelle grew up with several cats and an iguana named Anna. Michelle’s family eventually developed a love for boxer dogs, including their recent dog Bella (aka: Bella Boo!).
