Born 1959 in Bremen/Germany, Michael Christian Schulze lives and works in Berlin/Germany. With both an MD and MPH, Michael specializes as a geriatrician and addiction medicine specialist. Since 2018, his research has focused on human-animal relationships. He is also the head of Iizak, (Institute for Intra- and Interspecies Communication) and a researcher and speaker of the research division of the German Association of Animal Assisted Intervention
