Loretta Truman, LCSW, is a social worker at the Argus Institute within the Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. She earned her master’s degree in social work and animal-assisted social work certification from the University of Denver in 2017. Loretta offers compassionate support to pet families navigating the emotional challenges of caring for or losing their beloved animals, while also providing veterinary professionals with guidance on mental health, self-care, and wellness.
