Dr Lesa Staubus is a veterinarian who has worked in private practice, as a humane rescue veterinarian, and as a professor in surgery and shelter medicine at Oklahoma State University. Most recently, she was the Senior Program Officer and veterinary ethicist for the Kirkpatrick Foundation in Oklahoma.
