Animal attorney and ordained animal chaplain Rev Ginny Mikita, JD discusses her dual mission to change both laws and hearts—illuminating how empathy, faith, and persistence can move the moral arc toward justice for all beings.

Ginny Mikita is a 1991 graduate of Notre Dame Law School and ordained Animal Chaplain. She and her husband have their own compassion- and social justice-based law practice in which they represent those whose voices have been silenced – animals and those who care for and provide them with medical and shelter services, neglected/abused and unaccompanied refugee children and incapacitated adults.
