Aviva Vincent, PhD, LMSW is a Veterinary Social Worker, assistant professor at Cleveland State University and co-owner of Healing Paws LLC. Her research focuses on the physiological impact of the human-animal bond, implications of policy on community practice, and DEIB efforts in training and education of practitioners of HAI. She is the Secretary on the board of trustees for PATH International Board of Trustees, board member for the National Association of Social Workers, and serves on the advisory board for the Animal Law Clinic at CSU and NOMV. Dr. Vincent was awarded Cleveland Crain’s 40 under 40 (2023), and the Early Career Success Award by Case Western Reserve University (2022).
