At Idaho State University, I direct the Certificate Program in Animal Assisted Interventions in Counseling, offer AAIs in my clinical supervision, and incorporate AAIs in my teaching across the CACREP Core. I am the primary author of the American Counseling Association Competencies for Animal Assisted Therapy in Counseling while currently serving as a member of the Pet Partners Human-Animal Bond Advisory Board (HABAB). I have a background working with equines, rabbits, and dogs.
