Amber Bach-Gorman, PhD, NCC, LPCC-S is the Assistant Director and Coordinator of Clinical Services at North Dakota State University.  In addition, she is on faculty in the NDSU Counselor Education & Supervision Graduate program.  Amber is the founder of the animal assisted therapy program at the NDSU Counseling Center which provides both canine and equine assisted counseling services.  She is an EAGALA certified mental health professional and a Pet Partners Therapy Team Evaluator and Handler.  She has presented nationally on topics involving the benefits of animals in the workplace, compassion fatigue and animal assisted therapy program implementation and assessment
