Amy Thrasher, Psy.D., is a clinical health psychologist, with the U.S. Army. She currently serves as the Director of Training for the Clinical Psychology Internship Program at Tripler Army Medical Center (Honolulu, HI). She is the Treasurer of the Human-Animal Interaction Section and Diversity Committee Chair of the Military Psychology Section of the American Psychological Association.  Dr. Thrasher has published and presented on many topics, including human-animal interactions in the military, yoga integration programming, and military leadership. Her first edited volume, Embedded Behavioral Health in the Military, was published in November 2024. Dr. Thrasher also volunteers with her therapy dog, JoJo at schools and clinics on Oahu.
