My name is Evelyn, I am a Family and Community Physician in Uruguay, specializing in Health Management and Public Health. Currently, I work in jails, doing mainly primary care assistance, and do my research on Interdisciplinary health approaches (One Health and Planetary Health) within the Latin American, Ibero and Carribean Network. Also, I´m an international consultant for World Animal Protection, and a member of the One Welfare Advisory Board.
In Uruguay and Argentina, I am leading a research team on Anthrozoology, designing and creating HAI community programmes. Finally, as member of the One Welfare advisory board, and having medical training skills in jails and prisons, my main line of research is human animal violence, and connections with Forensics Medicine.
